Clone a Hotspot
If you need an exact copy of a hotspot, you can clone it. It means you can create a copy of the hotspot panel you have created and move it to another panoramic side that represents the same thing as the first hotspot. In general, a clone is a separate hotspot fully identical to the original one but you cannot edit it. If you edit the original, all clones will be updated.
Imagine you want to demonstrate a store and you have a table from 3-4 panoramas. Then you can clone the hotspot for that table and access it from all panoramas. If you need to change the price or any info of the table, you just edit once and all 4 panos` hotspots get updated.
How to make a clone?
- Navigate to the hotspot under the active plugins. Active Plugin > Hotspot.
- Choose the target panorama then set it to the desired angle and zoom.
- Select the hotspot you want to clone and click on the Clone button.
4. Drag the hotspot to the position you want. By default, the clone appears right in the middle of the active panorama.
5. Click Save to save all the changes.
Copy a Hotspot
If you need a copy of a hotspot but you want to edit the copy, that means you need to just copy it. You can copy the hotspot panel you have created to other panoramas and make a change to the copy hotspot. In brief, the copy method creates a new hotspot with the same design and content but can be edited.
How to copy a hotspot?
- Navigate to the hotspot under the active plugins. Active Plugin > Hotspot.
- Choose the target panorama then set it to the desired angle and zoom.
- Select the hotspot you want to copy and click on the copy button.

Both the Copy and the Clone methods create a new hotspot with the same structure as the original hotspot. The new hotspot created by the Clone method has the same set of hotspots as the original one, but the new hotspot created by the Copy method can be edited.
